BumpTop's 3d Desktop : Watch the video. Its an nice concept; I prefer using search for locating my data instead of browsing and navigating containers for it, but this is nice, nonetheless.

SwapTree : This is a neat service, that allows users to swap media ( books, dvds, cds, games) with other users, without the need for cash. The UI is neat, the ideas is equally good. Food for thought..

Strange Creature In Spanish Forrest

This video is purporting to show a fallen angel found in the woods in a place called CampdevÃ nol in spain.. A couple of guys decided to take a walk around the wood and along they way they find large white feathers, Then one of the men spots something strange crouching down, That is when they get the fright of their life. Some people say if you look closely you can see wings on the creatures back, This has fueled speculation that the video is of an Angel, I don't know though, While it's good for us to keep an open mind i can't help but think this is staged.

Waste of Desktop Space : Vista Widgets. uhm..

I am trying out Mars Edit and ecto, for managing my Pathfinder Blog directly from my desktop. They are both really good so I am not quite sure which one I will end up licensing. Or, perhaps, I should write my own application and save myself some euro. Screenshot can be found here.

Decompression, failed

For the past few weeks we (Phaistos Networks people) were in a 'work till you drop' mode, because of problems that kept on materializing out of nowhere and new stuff that we had to release on time.

I try to play hide and seek with murphy's law tonight, but eventually I was busted. Before I had to get back to taming the beasts, I did get to spend some 30 mins listening to podcasts and watching vidcasts from my bed, using the FrontRow remote. It's a great way to relax, to lie down and listen to interesting stuff. Alas, one cannot enjoy a moment of peace for more than that. More than a moment.

New Pathfinder Blogs!

I am extremely proud of my team here at Phaistos Networks. They so much work into making this happen. The new Pathfinder Blogs service. It still has a few rough edges and there is a whole lot to be done, but I couldn't be more pleased with what they have achieved. Well done, guys!
